On May 21, 2018, the Charter College of Education feted its graduates. The hall was filled to capacity as graduates, family, friends, and faculty celebrated accomplishments and milestones. Dr. Ana Ponce, CEO of the Camino Nuevo Charter Academy, inspired CCOE graduates to take the knowledge they’ve learned and use it to challenge the system as you fight for social change.
Dr. Cheryl Ney, Dean of the Charter College of Education, described Ponce as, “A talented and skilled academic leader as demonstrated by the recognition for academic excellence that the Camino Nuevo Charter Academy schools have earned.” To read the full article on Ponce and the graduation ceremony, visit: http://www.calstatela.edu/univ/ppa/publicat/pride-jubilation-mark-beginning-commencement-2018
