Directions for Honorees – before the program:

• Go to registration prior to the program
• At registration, pick up your honoree card
• Color coded honoree cards have:
  • Name
  • Division/program
  • List of the award/s you are scheduled to receive

If you do not have your card, your name cannot be called

When program begins:

• Honorees line up on Student Union walkway outside GE Ballroom
• Look for your program/division sign and line up behind it
• A faculty marshal will lead you into the ballroom and seat you in the section reserved for your division/program
• If you are uncertain where to sit, ask an usher
• Family and friends sit in chairs behind the honoree section

When your division/program is called to the stage:

• Faculty marshal will line you up by the stage
• When your name is called:
  • Approach the stage with your honoree card to receive your award
  • Go to the podium, hand your honoree card to your division chair/ program director
  • Division chair/ program director reads your name/award
• Proceed to Dean Ney who will congratulate you
• Return directly to your seat
