Educational Leadership Program Eligibility Criteria

 
Tier 1:     Master of Arts in Educational Administration & Preliminary Administrative Services Credential

  1. A minimum of 2.75 GPA for the last 90-quarter units of courses taken. 

  2. A valid California Professional Clear Teaching Credential or equivalent.

  3. A minimum of two years of successful teaching experiences with the Professional Clear Teaching Credential or equivalent.

  4. Positive recommendations from two people, including one from a practicing administrator.

  5. Demonstrated Leadership Potential, verified by an administrator.

  6. Passed CBEST.

  7. Passed Writing Proficiency Exam or equivalent verification of writing proficiency, such as a CBEST writing score of 41 or better.

 

 
Tier 2:     Professional Administrative Services Credential
  1. A minimum of 2.75 GPA for the last 90-quarter units of courses taken. 

  2. A valid California Preliminary Administrative Services Credential.

  3. A valid basic credential used to obtain the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential

  4. Verification of Employment as Administrator

  5. A minimum of two years of successful Experience as Administrator with the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential (for Track 2 option only).

  6. Passed CBEST.

  7. Passed Writing Proficiency Exam or equivalent verification of writing proficiency, such as a CBEST writing score of 41 or better.
