Prospective parents and students are invited to an "Open House" event on campus.
Twice a year, the Early Entrance Program at CSULA holds an Information Session during the SEAA -- Search for Exceptional Academic Achievement. The SEAA is usually held the first Sunday in December and the third Sunday in April. Check the specific dates on the SEAA tab at the left.
While the young scholars are taking the Talent Search exam, parents are welcome to attend the Information Session. The session generally runs from 12:45pm-2:30pm, with an opportunity to extend longer for parents to ask individual questions. The Information Session will present information on the exam as well as academic enrichment opportunities available for the students taking the exam. Learn about the ACT exam, the history of using this exam to search for talented 13-15 year olds, and how to use the results to design a curriculum tailored to the child. Learn about the Honors College at CSULA. And for the top scorers on the ACT Talent Search exam, learn about the prestigious CSULA Early Entrance Program (EEP). Discover how, for the right children, EEP provides the academic acceleration they crave in an appropriate high school environment of intellectual peers. Meet current EEP students and their parents to learn why they chose this unusual educational path, and why it has worked for them. The Information Session includes a question-and-answer opportunity.
No reservation is needed. All parents, siblings, and interested family are invited to join us at the King Hall Lecture Hall on the first floor.
