Prostate cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in men.  American Cancer Society estimated that the lifetime risk of developing prostate cancer is one in 6.  Although it is a relatively non-lethal cancer, only 1 in 35 will die from it, it is the second leading cause of cancer death in men, accounting for about 10% of overall cancer deaths.
