AFTER GRAD FAIR
From May 21 – 25, 2018, each ceremony will be livestreamed online. Guests who are unable to attend but would like to view the festivities can visit www.calstatela.edu and watch the ceremonies from their computer, laptop, or mobile device.
If a candidate has a double major during the same ceremony, the candidate will only receive the maximum allocation as listed. If the candidate has a double major but at two different ceremonies, the candidate can attend both and receive the ticket allocation for each ceremony. Tickets are non-transferable to other ceremonies.
By reserving guest tickets, you are confirming to participate in the 2018 Commencement ceremonies. After the deadline date, candidate participation and reservation of guest tickets will no longer be guaranteed. It is the candidate's responsibility to register to participate and reserve tickets in a timely manner.

Starting April 2, 2018, until May 4, 2018, the Cal State LA Alumni Association Facebook page will have a forum for graduating candidates to exchange tickets with one another. In the forum, simply post if you have tickets to exchange OR need tickets. You may only exchange with peers who are participating in the same ceremony. Candidates must print out their extra tickets and exchange them with their fellow candidates at the University-Student Union Lobby Seating Area, Monday - Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ticket Exchange is not monitored and rely on students observing good judgement and behavior. Tickets that are exchanged are the sole responsibility of the students exchanging the tickets. Any abusive action or behavior by any student should be reported. All issues with fake tickets being distributed result from sold tickets. Again, Commencement tickets are free and the University does not support or authorize the buying or selling of these tickets. We recommend that exchanges ONLY happen during the dates and times listed above at the designated location for your own security and safety. To ensure tickets are valid, make sure to ask for the Ticket Reservation Confirmation code. When tickets are reserved, the candidate is emailed the tickets and the confirmation code is included in the subject line. If you are suspicious the tickets are not valid, please email the confirmation code to firstname.lastname@example.org to verify. Please note that it can take 48-72 hours to verify.
After the deadline to register to participate in Commencement and reserve guest tickets on May 4, 2018, unclaimed tickets (if any) will be available online on Friday, May 11, 2018, from 8 a.m. (PST) until 5 p.m. (PST). Only graduating candidates who registered to participate in Commencement during Grad Fair or during the online registration from April 2, 2018, until May 4, 2018, will be able to log in to the e-ticket site and claim an additional ticket(s) on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that extra tickets are not guaranteed to be available for all candidates and ceremonies, and the amount of tickets each candidate is able to reserve will be dependent on what is available.
