The University Writing Center will host two-hour and four-hour Writing Proficiency Examination (WPE) workshops. Each workshop gives an overview of the WPE and what is expected of students taking the exam. In addition, students will participate in brainstorming a response to a sample WPE topic. In the four-hour workshop, students write a sample essay and tutors provide students with feedback on their essays.
