LOGING INTO GET
  • Use the blue "Login To GET" link above, to go directly to the GET homepage. Of course, you can also go directly to the GET homepage at any time by inputting: https://get.calstatela.edu into the address bar on your browser. BE CAREFUL: Don't forget to type the "s" at the end of "https", or you will get an annoying intermediate security page.
  • Below the GET yellow banner, click on "Eagle i-View Sign In," then enter your User ID and password.
  • User ID:  W_______
        Capital W followed by the last 7 digits of your CIN number
    Password:  GET____
        Capital GET followed by your 4 digit registration PIN
  • If you have unsuccessfully attempted to log in three or more times, you will be locked out. To regain access, you must call the GET help line at (323) 343-7438.
     
FINDING YOUR ENROLLMENT DATE
  • After you log into GET, select Student Services Home, then click on Academics.
  • Under Enrollment, click on View Enrollment Appointment.
  • Select the quarter you want to view to find the enrollment date. Be sure to check priority dates as well.

PAYING FOR CLASSES ON-LINE
Payment for fees must be made at least three full working days prior to your registration date to ensure access to registration.
  • Go to the GET homepage
  • Under Guest Menu (left side of page) click on Credit Card Payment.
  • Enter your campus ID (CIN number) and PIN (birth date--year, month, day). You can purchase and make payments for available quarter.
  • Print out and retain your receipt.

VIEWING SCHEDULE OF CLASSES
  • Go to the GET homepage
  • Under the Guest Menu (left side of page), click on Schedule of Classes
    Enter the Term, a 4-digit number assigned to each quarter.
    If you do not know this number, click on the magnifying glass . For Description enter the quarter (fall, winter, spring, or summer). Click on the "Lookup" button. Scroll down to you find the quarter you wish to view and click on it. Then click on the yellow "Basic Search" button.
  • Type in the subject (ex: ENGL) and a catalog number (ex: 250).
  • Specify in the check box whether or not you want to search for open classes.
  • Finally, scroll down the page and click on the "Search" button.

ADDING CLASSES
  • Log into GET, select Student Services Home, then click on Academics.
  • Select Enroll In A Class, then select the quarter you want.
  • Scroll down and select Add Classes. You will then see the schedule box.
  • In the empty spaces under the Class Nbr column, enter the 5 digit number of the classes you have chosen from the Schedule of Classes.
  • Once you have entered all desired classes, click SUBMIT.

DROPPING CLASSES
  • Follow the first two steps as in ADD A CLASS.
  • Scroll to the bottom of your schedule and select Drop/Update Classes.
  • Find the class you want to drop. To the left is a box that reads. Select Enrollment Action. Click on the blue arrow and select the Drop option.
  • Click SUBMIT.

FINDING AND PRINTING CLASS SCHEDULES
  • Log into GET, select Student Services Home, then click on Academics.
  • Under Enrollment click on View My Class Schedule, then select the term you want to view.
  • To print the schedule, click on File, then Print from the top menu.
    Hint: When printing, information on the right may not print. Try formatting the page to print as landscape.
    Select File, then Page Setup from the top menu.
    Under Orientation choose the landscape option, then click OK.
     
WHY CAN'T I REGISTER TODAY?
  • Students are given two enrollment appointments depending on grade level. If it is NOT your appointment date, you will not be able to register.
  • If there is a Hold placed on your record, you will not be able to register.
    Check for Holds: Log into GET, go to Personal Portfolio, then click on Holds.
    Remember to check your To Do List; this list is located under Holds in your Personal Portfolio.
  • If you have not paid your tuition, you will not be able to register. You must pay at least three days in advance.
  • Classes may be full or you may need to get permission from the department to register
  • You may also be unable to enroll if the class requires prerequisites and you have not yet taken them.
     
HOW DO I CHECK MY GRADES?
  • Sign-In to GET, select Student Services Home, then click on Academics.
  • Under Academic Record, select View My Grades, then select the Quarter you want to view.
