The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Terminal Island, California, is a low security facility housing male inmates. FCI Terminal Island is located at the entrance to the Los Angeles Harbor, between San Pedro and Long Beach off Harbor Freeway (110 South) at the Terminal Island exit.

US Marshals Guest Speaker October 15th @ 2pm

The U.S. Marshals Service is currently recruiting interns for their paid Centralized Student Career Experience Program (CSEP or internship) this Fall. They will be conducting an informational session on October 15th from 2-3p.m. in room 238 in the Hertzburg-Davis Forensic Scienc Center.

To be considered for the CSEP/Internship program you must meet the following eligibility requirements
At least 20 yrs of age
U.S. Citizen
At least half time student
Have a 3.0 in major and overall GPA of 2.75
Junior or Senior
Must have a driver's license
If you are a freshman or sophmore you are more than welcome to come but keep in mind you can't apply to the program until your Junior or Senior year.

Please email me with your first and last name, date of birth, and Drivers License number. There is a dress code. This trip is scheduled for Feb 21st at 10am.

Please adhere to the following guidelines while in attendance.

All visitors must be 21 years old or older
Visitors must leave all personal items (currency, lighters,
purses) inside their vehicles.
A valid CA Drivers License or ID is required
Electronic devices are not allowed in the facility
All visitors must be appropriately dressed
Clothing considered inappropriate includes: white t- shirts as outerwear, strapless tops, spaghetti straps, tank tops, short skirts
or short dresses (higher than mid thigh), shorts, halter tops, tight

fitting clothing, low cut tops or clothing exposing mid section of

stomach, dresses and clothing bearing inappropriate messages and/or

insignias, hats, broaches or stickpins

No sandals or open toes shoes may be worn while inside the institution.

New Website Launched

After roughly a year of inactivity the Cal State LA Criminal Justice Club has been restarted. A new executive board with fresh ideas is ready to tackle the upcoming 2009 Spring Quarter.
