This section of our website is dedicated the review of martial arts books. Click on a link below to hop to the section you want to read. Click "BACK" to get back to this menu.
If you've ever gone to a book store, and tried looking for a martial arts book, you see one of two things. One, they hardly have any martial arts books, and the ones that they do have, you don't want or already own. The other is that the section is huge, with books on every art in the known world. Both of these situations are problems. In the first, you have little or no section, the later, you have to many to decide from. Well this is where the Martial Arts Club comes in.
Now let's face it, with the average price of books on the subject of martial arts ranging from $10-$25, one can't really afford to buy a book that's not good, accurate, or correct. Our goal is to provide you with a weapon to battle with.
Have you ever tried to read the various reviews of books out on the market by non-martial artists or by their 'friends'. Then you get the book only to find that it wasn't what you were looking for? Well, imagine a place that you can visit anytime, day or night, to find an unbiased review of a book. Whether it's a book on Taekwondo or Capoeira, philosophy or techniques, self-defense or competition, you will be able to come here and find it.
Every quarter (hopefully more often that that, but hay were just a bunch of students) we'll post up reviews for various books, from different areas. Hopefully these reviews can help lead the way to spending your $'s and ¢'s in a more efficient manner.
There are several publisher's we've contacted and still haven't heard back from. Anyway if you know of other publishers not listed here, drop them a note and tell them to send us a couple of their books for review.
If you are a publisher and would like to send us a book for review, just send the book to the address
