Cancellations and Refunds
Canceled Courses: Students should find another class to meet their schedule. If there are not any courses to meet this need, a refund will be issued. DO NOT drop yourself from a canceled course; use the SWAP feature in GET.
Course Drops and Tuition Refunds: Students enrolling in courses (Section 80, 81, 82 or greater) and programs offered in Self-Support Sessions through the College of Professional and Global Education (PaGE) are entitled to a tuition refund when they follow the established campus procedures and deadline dates to drop courses/units or completely withdraw from the Self-Support Sessions.
Students who completely withdraw/drop courses on or after the start date of the Winter Self Support Sessions must pay pro-rata tuition fees for the number of days enrolled in each session. The pro-rata tuition charges are calculated based on the drop or withdrawal date and the length of the sessions. Refund checks will be mailed to the mailing address on the Cal State LA student GET account.

Students must pay tuition for the number of days enrolled in the session. Detailed Refund Policies can be found on the Disbursement Office web page or by calling (323) 343-3630.
The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after fees are initially charged or initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees. All listed fees, other than mandatory systemwide fees, are subject to change without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, or the Presidents, as appropriate. Changes in mandatory systemwide fees will be made in accordance with the requirements of the Working Families Student Fee Transparency and Accountability Act (Section 66028-66028.6 of the Education Code).
