Cal State L.A. Celebrates
Earth Week 2000
Cal State L.A. will celebrate Earth Week 2000 with events from April 17-April 27, 2000.
Cal State L.A. is located at the Eastern Ave. exit, San Bernardino Freeway, at the interchange of the 10 and 710 freeways. Public permit dispenser parking is available in Lots C and G, and North Parking Structure II.
Nobody Walks in L.A. Mon., Apr. 17 & Thu., Apr. 20, 10 a.m., University-Student Union Walkway. Cal State L.A.'s Associated Students, Inc. and the Society of Automotive Engineers will present cutting edge research in electric racecars and high efficiency engines.
Dwight Trible and The Oasis Peace. Tue., Apr. 18, 12 noon, Free Speech Area. Celebrate the beauty of the Earth with this creative World Stage ensemble featuring the vocal power of Dwight Trible.
Heal the Bay. Tue., Apr. 27, 3 p.m., Alhambra Room A/B, University-Student Union. Join Bill Pope for an informative and insightful presentation about preventing pollution of the Santa Monica Bay.
