Presents Marisol's Christmas

The Department of Theatre Arts and Dance at California State University, Los Angeles presents Marisol's Christmas. It is a story of a young girl who finds reason to rejoice on Christmas Eve even amid the stark, unfamiliar surroundings of a Los Angeles freeway underpass. To soothe her homesickness, her father weaves a delightful tale in which a comet, a Christmas present, the Dodgers-and her own "mama"-light up the heavens. Her father's fable helps Marisol discover that happiness can be found even in the midst of hardship, and a family reunited at Christmas is reason enough to rejoice.
