Cal State L.A. Presents the '96 Science Series

What & Who:
The Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at California State University, Los Angeles introduce the '96 Science Series, exploring historical and modern concepts in astronomy, physics and chemistry. All lectures will be held Wednesday evenings at 8 p.m.

February 28, 1996 - Milan Mijic, Assistant Professor, CSLA Department of Physics:
"Big Bang and Before."

April 17, 1996 - Konrad Aniol, Chair and Professor, CSLA Department of Physics:
"Mechanics-Ancient and Modern: A History of the Concept of Motion."

May 8, 1996 - Don Paulson, Professor, CSLA Department of Chemistry:
"Everything you wanted to know about Chemistry and Physics but were afraid to ask."

June 12, 1996 - Harold Cohen & John Woolum, Professors, CSLA Department of Physics:
"Simple Devices - Profound Ideas."
