Toy & Food Drive
Delivers Holiday Cheer
to Local Families
Los Angeles, CA -- In the holiday spirit of giving, Educational Participation in Communities (EPIC) at California State University, Los Angeles, will be collecting toys and boxes of canned food and dry goods from CSULA staff, students and faculty for it 34th Annual Holiday Toy and Food Drive. On Thursday, December 15, EPIC volunteers will deliver holiday cheer to low-income families from the surrounding campus community.
Family recipients are selected by nonprofit community agencies that are deeply rooted in the greater Los Angeles area. Last year, Cal State L.A. collected around $13,526 worth of toys and food, and delivered all the goodies to 65 families (275 children and 125 adults altogether).
