Mission:
Why does the organization exist – its main purpose?
Vision:
Where do we want the organization to be in 5 years?
Culture/Core Values:
The major elements of the internal value system that defines the
organization.
SWOT:
Strengths & Weaknesses (internal to the organization) and Opportunities & Threats
(external elements).
General Strategy:
What are the principle activities of the organization?
Strategic Initiatives:
Provide the key efforts/approaches that will be used to implement/direct
the strategy and realize the mission/vision.
Objectives/Goals:
Targets of performance – these ought to be SMART (Specific/Measurable/
Attainable/Realistic/Timely).
Results:
The data and analysis that allows for determining the strategy’s success (or failure).
Tactics:
How the strategic initiatives are implemented?
