Welcome to the Certificate in Assistant Behavior Analyst
This baccalaureate certificate program is designed to provide practitioners who work or desire to work as behavior therapists, behavioral teacher’s aides, resource and program specialists, and others who work with students with special needs and their families, the opportunity to develop specialized skills to function as an Assistant Behavior Analyst, working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Students will develop specialized skills for designing, implementing and evaluating applied behavior analysis programs. The certificate will prepare students for the national Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) exam administered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). This certificate may be earned concurrently with a bachelor degree; however, is not eligible for financial aid if taken alone.
