THE DECISION-MAKING RESEARCH LAB
The laboratory is used by Dr. David Weiss and his students for the conduct of experiments in which people are asked to make judgments. Typically, respondents are run singly, performing a task in which their opinions, histories or predictions are gathered. We are seldom interested in individual evaluations, so most respondents are kept anonymous to the researcher. Data are usually processed on a group basis.
Since most behavior includes a judgmental component, a wide range of research domains may be explored from this perspective. Previous studies have examined health projections, sexual attitudes and practices, psychophysical measurement, and inter-personal perception.
