Pre-Admission Advisement

Interested in attending Cal State LA? We invite you to meet with an admissions counselor to learn about admission requirements and the application process. We encourage you to meet with us early on in your academic career so we can help you plan your path to Cal State LA.

Online Pre-Admission Advisement sessions are available by appointment only and may be scheduled up to 7 days in advance. For the virtual video conference advisement session, you must have a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access, a microphone, and speakers. For the most effective advisement session, we strongly encourage you to email us your unofficial transcripts prior to the appointment, otherwise, we will only be able to provide general admissions information. After making your Pre-Admission Advisement appointment, we will provide you with specific instructions on how to email your unofficial transcript(s) to us. Be aware: We do not review non-U.S./international transcripts for Pre-Admission Advisement. However, we may still provide general admission information for interested students.
