The iconic Ballet Folklórico de México de Amalia Hernández make their anticipated return to the U.S. and the Luckman Theatre with an acclaimed repertory that brings together the music, dance and costume of Mexican folklore from pre-Colombian civilizations through the modern era. This is the final night of three back-to-back shows running October 19-21.
Their repertory includes more than 40 ballets of exquisite choreography that pay homage to local dance traditions from some 60 regions of Mexico. They have presented more than 5,000 performances and won more than 200 awards for artistic achievement.
