Join the Cross Cultural Centers and Department of Pan-African Studies for an evening of short documentaries exploring Black Queer identities. Cakes Da Killa follows a 22-year-old openly gay hip hop artist determined to live life on his own terms in the rap world. Paris Is Burning explores New York City’s drag scene in the 1980s, with special attention on balls, voguing, and the houses that became family for the performers.
