Dr. Maryam Tofighi joined the College of Business and Economics at Cal State LA as an Assistant Professor of Marketing. Maryam earned her Ph.D. in Marketing from Concordia University, Canada. Her primary research and teaching interests are in the areas of marketing analytics, marketing research, sustainability, and social responsibility in marketing, retailing and merchandising, consumer behavior, and brand management. Prior to joining academia, she worked for two years in the sales and marketing departments of multiple companies in the IT consulting and consumer packaged goods industry.
In October 2017, Dr. Tofighi launched the M.A.R.S Club (Marketing Analytics and Research Student Club) as an inaugural student organization at Cal State LA.
