Somak’s teaching interests are in Business Statistics, Marketing Research and Marketing Analytics. Somak has taught courses on Principles of Marketing, Business Statistics, Marketing Research, and Marketing Strategy (capstone course for marketing majors undergraduates students).
Somak’s research interests fall under the broad domain of behavioral research and specifically in the subdomains of behavioral pricing and promotion and responsible consumption practices. His research has been presented/accepted in international conferences like SMA, AMA, AMS, AIB, etc. His research has been published in the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Business Research, and Business Forum.
