MEXICAN DEBTORS RESISTANCE MOVEMENT
What & Who
The Latin American Studies Program and the Byran O. Jackson Lecture Series at California State University, Los Angeles will cosponsor a free lecture entitled "El Barzón: The Mexican Debtors Resistance Movement." The guest speaker will be José María Imaz, coordinator of foreign relations for El Barzón, a prominent Mexican union that defends the rights of debtors.

The University is located at the Eastern Avenue exit, San Bernardino (I-10) Fwy., at the interchange of the 10 and 710 Fwys.
José María Imaz works in Mexico City as director of a foreign language institute and coordinator of a small business owners association comprising more than 20,000 businesses. He has extensive teaching and translation experience. He speaks five languages and has traveled extensively.
